Crossing the Finish Line as a Cancer Survivor

Pam Daines was shocked to learn she had breast cancer at age 30. Accepting her new reality, she lived a motto of finding something each day to be grateful for and appreciate. The AF Canyon Run Against Cancer marks her first race since her diagnosis. Crossing the finish line means she has beat cancer. It’s a symbol and sign that her body is strong, she can still be active and do hard things.
