Runners, walkers and strollers of all ages are invited to participate in the 5k to help support the fight against cancer. All proceeds go to help cancer patients that cannot afford treatment. Each runner will receive a performance shirt (men's and women's sizing) and be entered into a drawing for prizes.

Age division awards will be given to the winners of each age group. Age division winners can pick up their prize at the awards table at the finish line.
The ceremony is for overall winners only. Age category winners can pick up their prize at the awards table at the finish line.
Our Grand Prize will be a treadmill donated by Icon Health & Fitness. The treadmill will be raffled off at approximately 8:30 a.m., you must be present to win. Thanks, Icon!
Packet pick up will be on Friday, June 23, 2017, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., at Art Dye Park (550 E. 1000 N., American Fork, UT 84003). Please make sure to bring a valid ID. You may present signed note and a copy of a friend’s ID to pick up their packet for them.
Make it a family affair and bring all the kids to participate in fun activities while parents collect all their race goodies.
Each runner will receive a performance shirt (men’s and women’s sizing), finisher medal, and additional goodies provided in your participant bag.
A delicious breakfast, including FRENCH TOAST from our wonderful title sponsor, Kneaders, (who doesn’t love Kneader’s French Toast?!) will be provided to all runners. We want to help you celebrate your accomplishment and feed you right. Other refreshments, including fruit, Gogurt, Italian Ice, and chocolate milk will be available for participants at the finish line. Unfortunately, these food items are only available for our half marathon, 10K, and 5K participants. We hope you enjoy!
Visit our various vendor booths at the finish line and receive a FREE post-run massage at the massage booth, pick up some AF Canyon Run Against Cancer gear at the merchandise tent or snag a commemorative race charm from Scott James Jewelry.
Intermountain Cancer Services will also have a booth where you can learn more about preventative screenings and Cancer Services in your area. You can visit their booth to see our "Running in Honor" of slideshow. SelectHealth will also be there providing body fat screenings, blood pressure checks and other healthy tips and SWAG.

Three years ago, my mom and I signed up to run this half marathon together. Early that summer, she was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer and we didn't end up participating in the race because of her health. This year, I am running for her.
